The Imaginarium.

The Imaginarium is a metaphor for your mind. A place that is only limited by your imagination, but also is the playground of god and satan to influence your choices and decisions.

The main portrait is of Lily Cole from Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, staring the late Heath Ledger.

I love this movie, and I loved the poster, so I had to try drawing it. It's been a while since I've drawn anything that wasn't strictly a portrait, and I actually had a lot of fun doing this. The complete drawing is actually quite small: 9" X 14" (23cm X 35cm)

Strathmore smooth bristol paper
and about 40 hours. longest drawing I've ever done.
